On 10–11 July 2025, Rome will host the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC-2025), a key international platform for shaping the vision, principles and tools for Ukraine's recovery. The event will bring together the governments of leading countries, international organisations, financial institutions, municipalities, businesses and civil society to share a common vision of how to support and rebuild Ukraine.

Thanks to official recommendations from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, the ZDOROVI team has become an official participant in URC-2025. This is an important opportunity to bring the issues of health preservation, medical services, and human capital development to the global level, especially at a time when the country is fighting for the lives of its citizens on a daily basis.

This year, we are also collecting examples of projects in the public and municipal sectors that need support and international attention:
- hospital reconstruction;
- creation of health centres;
- launch of resource, simulation and training centres;
- other solutions that are important for patients and healthcare professionals, etc.

ZDOROVI is travelling to Rome with a clear focus and an important mission: to convey the voice of the medical community, which supports millions of Ukrainians every day and yet often remains outside the scope of international discussions. We will talk about the following:
- the Ukrainian healthcare system has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to adapt and mobilise in wartime — from the rapid reorientation of medical facilities to the launch of new services despite shelling, power cuts and evacuations;
- support for medical infrastructure is critically needed today, not just after the war — because it is about saving lives every day in frontline and de-occupied territories;
- the international partnerships that ZDOROVI is consistently building are key to implementing sustainable change, modernising the healthcare system and developing innovation.

ZDOROVI's participation is not only a representation of the sector, but also a contribution to the global discussion: how to adapt the healthcare system to the conditions of war, how to invest in recovery while taking into account humanitarian challenges, how to transform the experience of pain into a policy of change.

The future of Ukraine is being built today. Let us represent Ukrainian medicine with dignity — as a sector that keeps the country going in the darkest times.
